Please, before you try to sell me on this part of the 2nd Amendment, "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Please read the first part of the amendment first where they tell you why they gave you this right, "A WELL REGULATED Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State". They didn't say, Due to the small size of your penis and failings in life, In order for you to shoot up defenseless school children, or Because you never learned to fight and don't know how do deal with an ass whipping, or Because you are a crazy paranoid schizophrenic, or because when you personally think it's time to overthrow the Government because it's being led by a black guy, no, it says,"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State". Period, that's why that right was given...It's there, in ink.


I'm not saying that they ONLY meant for guns to be in the hands of militia men since we had relatively no standing army at the time but there are other contexts that gun nuts don't take into account.


A.   This is a 60" long Musket common to the era in which the 2nd Amendment was written:

B. This is the led balls it could fire about 100 yards every 90 seconds:

No reasonable person at the time thought that the 2nd Amendment applied to private citizens owning cannons, frigates or any other strictly military weapons.


A. This is a 40" long AR-10 which gun nuts now claim is referred to in the catch all phrase as "arms":

 B. These are some of the 60 rounds per minute (military version can fire 800 RPM) it can fire  at a range of about 700 yards:

Do you see how these are different and should be treated as such?? Not to mention the fact that the US Federal Government could barely staff a standing army and relied on militias as a first response to an invasion from one of the many enemies who had the capabilities of executing such a task.



And why is it that the 2nd Amendment is seemingly the only one that comes with no limits?? And speaking of limits, also there in ink in plain English, it says this right must be "WELL REGULATED".

The 2nd Amendment clearly states, here's your right, here's why and here is how it should be managed, yet gun nuts have gun blinders on that only allows them to see this part: "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." This would be like an Anarchist defending anarchy with the first Amendment by stating, "Congress shall make no law" and stopping there. It's moronic.


And then there is this:

Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.

It clearly says in the first Amendment, "NO LAW restricting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" yet, Mormons aren't allowed to practice Polygamy, Rastafarians aren't allowed to smoke weed, churches can't officially endorse political candidates and now, even companies aren't allowed to force their religious beliefs upon their employees. We have the freedom of Speech yet I can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater (unless their is a nut with an AR-10 shooting at everyone) and the press cannot slander someone even though the constitution seemingly gives them the right to do. And don't even get me started about the 5th Amendment and how that's been interpreted and limited in it's rights.

Why isn't the NRA and the gun nuts out there fighting for Polygamy if they are such strict constitutionalists??

And before you start saying Nugent was right and Obama's plan was to come for your guns and bunkers and white women from the get go, just remember that from a legislative stance, Obama never once talked about gun control, not after Tucson, not after Aurora. But Bush W clearly stated that he would have renewed and signed the assault rifle ban when it expired in  2004 and that Obama's stance on gun control are actually more lax than Reagan's, who supported assault rifle bans and once said,

"I do not believe in taking away the right of the citizen for sporting, for hunting and so forth, or for home defense. But I do believe that an AK-47, a machine gun, is not a sporting weapon or needed for defense of a home.'' -  Ronald Reagan, 1989

And you have to love the irony in this non-Onion headline:

Remember, it's the NRA's stance that guns don't shoot and kill people, that people at gun shows are responsible and that no one has ever been shot at a gun show and that the more guns you have the safer you will be which is obvious when looking at places like the US, Iraq, Pakistan, Congo, Russia, etc...Or where gun ownership in the area of this country is most common and it also happens to be the area of the country with the highest crime and murder rates.

You can be a gun owner, that's fine, I own a gun, but if you believe the bullshit from the NRA, you are an idiot who is easily manipulated.

We Win! What it doesn't mean

For all the Ted Nugents, Trumps, Tebows and other morons out there erroneously quoting our founding fathers and suggesting that somehow the Democrats will take an early lead until the Republicans get home from work or how Obama only won because he was going to take away from those who work and give it to people who won't work need to realize this: First off,  in the case of Tim Tebow, you have to love the irony of a guy who sits around on a bench most of the day, not doing anything and collecting a pay check for doing nothing making a statement like that. Second, the reason Obama won Ohio and in counties like Perry Indiana with an automotive foundry is not because he was going to reward them for not having a job but because he SAVED their jobs. That's right, Obama won Ohio, Michigan and all the counties dependent on the auto industry because he vowed to make sure those people KEPT working...Not because they could benefit from not working.

Lastly, the only guy in this election who both in college and in his early life and for the last several years benefits from free money for not working, was Mitt Romney. Obama works and always has worked for his income.

The next time some mouth breathing Wal-Mart shopper tries to play that card, stuff a bag of Chick-Fil-A down their throats.

There are 2% of the people who will vote for Romney no matter what. All right, there are 2% who are with him, who are dependent on government and their inheritances who believe they are victims of class warfare, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe they are entitled to your money, social security, government subsidies, tax payer funded bailouts, tax breaks, tax loopholes, no-bid government contracts and who get to write the very financial laws which govern them, you name it. That’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for Romney no matter what.

It’s the Presidents job not to worry about those people. He will never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What the President has to do is convince the other 98% of people who may be independent, that are thoughtful, who look at voting one way or the other depending upon, in some cases, emotion, whether or not they like the black guy or not.

Want to Blame Obama for the Economy?

Ok, let's do that:

A. On Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 13157, up 49% from 8776 at the end of 08 and up 23% from 2001 when Bush took office

B. Housing start permits were at 549,000 in December of 08, in July they were at 812,000, a 47% INCREASE and rising!

C. Since the first Obama budget went into effect, the national debt has increased 32%, under Bush it increased 110%, under Reagan, 180%. If people like Romney paid what I pay in taxes, this wouldn't be such a problem.

D. In June, corporate profits hit an all time high but THEY were paying less in wages...Wages are not controlled by Obama.

E. At the same point in the Bush Presidency, private sector job growth was DOWN 1.7%, under Obama it is UP 4% from Feb 2010.

F. At the same point in their Presidency, public sector job growth increased 3.7% but under Obama it had DECREASED 2.7%! Obama's job growth has come from the private sector, Bush's job growth came from the public sector. I mean, someone had to listen to your phone calls without a warrant.

G. The Obama economy has seen 29 straight months of of job growth with over 4 million jobs added in that time frame.

H. Home Prices have risen for 5 straight months!

The Republicans have one number, unemployment, that's it. And if all these Republican Governors weren't busy firing teachers, cops, social workers, firemen and other state workers (AKA union thugs), that number would be much lower. If Obama had the same amount of public job growth, the unemployment numbers would be well under 8%. It's your side who hates the teachers and state and local government workers so you are getting what you asked for. You can't blame those jobs on Obama.

 That about wraps that up. But wait, Mike Huckabee, who called for the Chick Falatio appreciation day is the former Governor of Arkansas, which in 2009, had the highest divorce rate in the country. Why focus on just one of the things he thinks the Bible condemns?? Why isn't he protesting Arkansas for their loose morals on divorce??

 Look, if you hate gays, just come out and say it. If you just think gay marriage makes your marriage not valid or whatever, then fine. But what you can't do is say you are against it because of the Bible or what Jesus said. And if you do, then you have to equally protest Chick Falatio because it makes people fat and gluttony is also a sin as is serving pork which is what they do in their breakfast sandwiches which the Old Testament is very clear about being unclean or the fact that Chick Falatio is open on the Sabbath, which in the Bible, is punishable by death. And then of course if you are divorced, you have NO credibility when talking about the holiness or sanctity of marriage. The divorce rate in Arkansas is 13.15 and just 9.4 for the rest of the country.

Hey urban, educated blue states! Ever wonder where all your money goes?? Republicans would have you believe that it goes to fat black welfare Mom's in the projects of Chicago who had too many kids they couldn't afford in order to rev Chicago's "machine" style politics and get black, Muslim, Kenyans elected President. Well, it doesn't. It goes towards oil and mining and agriculture companies and to the the rest of the people in the bible belt and Appalachia...And also to some very poor Native American areas. And building roads, sewers and providing other services on a road with 8 people on it ( you know, the real America that isn't elitists who go to college, live in high rises and take subways to work) costs a lot more than providing these services on a road with 800 people like you have in larger population areas...AKA, the fake America that doesn't cling to their guns and bibles when screaming at gay people.

Everyone has heard the term "Welfare States" which are states like IN, SC, AL, MS, KY, AR, AK, etc. who all get more in federal funding than they pay in federal taxes unlike CA, IL, NY, NJ, MA, CT, WA etc. who pay more into the system than they get out so they can fund faith based programs for fat kids with Diabetes in places like MS, AL and AR where they pay much lower tax rates than we do in the more urban blue states. For instance, for every dollar paid in federal taxes, MS gets back $1.84, AK $1.82, WV $1.74, AL $1.61 etc. Where as NJ only gets $.62 back in federal spending, CT $.64, IL $.77, MA $.79 and CA and NY $.81.
